Darren Hartman
Co-Owner / Sr. Colorist

Darren Hartman has over a decade of film-making experience in New York, Los Angeles and Portland, OR; where he now resides. Originally focused on camera-work, working on projects across the country, his career path has led him to be the Co-Owner and Senior Colorist of Alkemic Color. His credits include grading commercials for global brands such as Sprite, P&G and Adidas, as well as the dailies colorist on Netflix series such as American Vandal and Trinkets.

Steffen Walk
Co-Owner / Colorist

Steff Walk was born and raised in Southern California. After picking up a camera at age 12 she continued a path, graduating from Brooks Institute of Photography in 2004 with a BA in digital imaging and photographic sciences. She shoots, art directs and creates sets in Los Angeles. Steff’s background in photography led right into digital color grading and is currently Co-Owner and Colorist for Alkemic Color.
